Revit updates – now automated.

Not sure if you’re running consistent build updates across the whole design team? Getting frustrated with the tedious manual process of comparing build numbers and updates available for download? Over checking Autodesk Desktop app regularly to see if there are updates available?
If you’re a managed client now there’s one less thing to do, as we’ve built automations around Revit updates.
Running each Wednesday night at 10pm, our automation will check to see if your Revit needs updating. All updates and fixes have undergone rigorous manual testing by our BIM Services Team to ensure it doesn’t cause any potential negative impacts.
It’s important to make sure that you save and synchronise all models, and close out of Revit before you leave for the day on Wednesdays – as our automations won’t run if they detect Revit is still open (to ensure you don’t lose any unsaved changes!). If you do happen to leave it open, the updates will be skipped and run again the following week.
Further development is going in to upgrading additional Autodesk software, and we’ve also got other apps on our roadmap such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Archicad, Bluebeam Revu, Enscape, and Lumion too.
